The GridVis Cloud provides assistance with processing and visualizing your consumption values, costs and CO₂ emissions. The central element of the application is the dashboard of a hierarchy node. The dashboard is generated automatically and displays the associated consumption values, costs and CO₂ emissions for each hierarchy node. As a basis for these values, the assigned data points are evaluated (Assign data points) or the hierarchy total of the subnodes is displayed (Hierarchy totals).

The dashboard is divided into two sections. The upper area displays the current daily consumption values for all media assigned to the node. These are displayed in individual tiles and are marked, for example, with the heading Consumption & Generation | Electricity. The displayed value corresponds to the consumption of the current day from 00:00.

When the dashboard is opened for the first time, its lower area displays a consumption diagram in bar chart form. The Week time period is opened here by default. The bars displayed correspond to a day of the week of the current week. The current day is displayed proportionally, i.e. the displayed bar may change over the course of the day.

In the diagram settings area, you have the option of editing the media displayed and the time interval.

Note

Click the menu icon () to download the bar chart data as a PNG, CSV or XLSX file.

Comparison

The GridVis Cloud also offers the possibility to visualize a quick and easy comparison between two consecutive time periods. For example, you can compare yesterday's consumption with today's consumption. To do this, click on the Comparison tab to open the comparison view of the GridVis Cloud.

This function adds another bar to the view. This is displayed slightly lighter to allow for the different values to be distinguished by color.  The lighter bar indicates the previous period.

Note

Please note that only one medium can be selected for the comparison. If you have activated several media, the medium activated first will be displayed first in the comparison.
