A third period can be selected in the comparison function in the dashboard. In addition to the modified comparison with an individual comparison period, a further freely definable period can now optionally be added or selected using a calendar function.

The third comparison period is displayed as an additional column in the dashboard diagram and can be hidden again using the delete function.

The selection of the time data to be displayed for the bar chart has been simplified by a new design.

Bugfix: Optimization of the behavior of the displayed time period when changing the time interval. The previously selected start time is retained.

In the media selection in the right-hand side menu, the medium electricity is switched to the same level as the measured variables consumption, self-consumption and feedback to optimize usability. This means that when one of the consumption and generation measured variables is switched on and off, the corresponding detailed measured variable is also switched on and off and the corresponding medium is always displayed when the tab or function is changed.

Bugfix: In the search function, the consumption is displayed when a node is selected.

The period to be compared can now be selected individually in the comparison function in the dashboard. In addition to the previous comparison, which only concerned the previous period, a freely definable period can now be specified or selected via a calendar function.

Bugfix: Display of a complete period without missing the last section of the period in the chart.

A new design of the menu bars improves the overview and makes the application easier to use. The new design is more clearly arranged and thus enables space-saving and easier navigation.

The main menu items are now integrated in the top bar and the function tabs are located in a visually separated and more recognizable area.

The alignment of the settings for charts and data tiles improves usability and clarity. The newly introduced side menu on the right side of the GridVis Cloud summarizes the most important settings and can be reduced in size to save space.

Both the media selection and the selection of the displayed data range are arranged in the new sidebar.

The usability of the GridVis Cloud web interface is improved by a more intuitive user guidance throughout the application.

The selected view settings are retained superordinately in a session. When switching feature pages or views, both the currently selected media and the selected time period are retained without resetting any defaults.

Report generation has been made more secure, minimizing the potential for errors. A revision of the background function has optimized and modernized report generation.

Bugfix: The abbreviated name of a displayed month below a chart has been improved to abbreviate the month with an understandable name and make it more recognizable.

For the hot water medium, it is now possible to store a contract file to better show the total costs.

Bugfix: The sorting of the measuring device display has been corrected based on the timestamp of the last measured value acquisition. As a result, the display now corresponds to the actuality of the measurement data.

Bugfix: The incorrect display of lines with the surfaces has been fixed.

The hint text when no values are displayed has been adjusted. The text part "Please change period" has been removed, because the values in the maps are independent of the selected period.

Bugfix: The mouse pointer no longer shows the "Media" and "View" columns as a selection for sorting.

Bugfix: Wrong page numbering and naming of some reports as report.pdf fixed.

A connected current measurement module UMG96-RM can be added in the Cloud Connector and can be assigned to a node in the GridVis Cloud.

The display and input elements of the GridVis Cloud have been revised and redesigned.

The displayed media remain activated/deactivated when changing the view and the node. The default selection is no longer activated when switching.

The selection initially only refers to the individual media and not yet to the different view of generated and purchased electricity.

Bar chart

As long as data is still requested for the construction of the diagrams, a loading display is shown.

Bugfix: When displaying historical consumption data, an incorrect display could occur depending on the current time. The data is now displayed more reliably and a corresponding note is displayed in case of unavoidable errors.

Bugfix: When comparing historical electricity data, an error no longer occurs if a period has values for drawn and delivered energy, but the comparison period does not.

Bugfix: Created reports were generated multiple times. These reports have been deleted.

Improved readability of the shown numerical values for each bar with low consumptions with small bars.

Additional Cloud environment optimizations to improve performance when viewing data and charts on the dashboard.

The header was renewed and optimized on the code side. No changes were made on the design side for the time being, so no changes are visible in the display.

The report structure is optimized and the presentation of the values is improved.

Previously created reports remain saved in the old format, only new reports are saved in the new format.

Bugfix: Instead of a placeholder labeled "(CURRENCY)", the table exported as CSV or XLSX displays the correctly selected currency in the column header.

Bugfix: In the tabs Costs and CO2 a hint is displayed again above the respective bar as soon as there is a measurement gap in the corresponding sum value.

Cloud environment optimizations to improve performance when viewing data and charts on the dashboard.

Bugfix: In the comparison view, the displayed data is determined correctly again and all consumption values of a medium are taken into account.

The displayed currency can be converted to an official local currency upon request.

In the configuration of the report definition of a producer node, only the consumption and comparison views can be selected. Other views are not displayed in the report due to the non-configurable conversion data for an optimized display.

For better clarity of the created reports, the column of the report name is dynamically adapted to the window width and very long report names are shortened accordingly. The full name of the respective report can be displayed as a tooltip via mouseover.

In the report preview, page breaks are better identified by a blank area.

A preview can be displayed when a new report is created or an existing report is edited. The preview shows the selected views and data and gives an accurate picture of the future report.

Bugfix: When activating the comparison function in a report, the correct full timespans will be displayed.

Bugfix: Missing translated texts are displayed in English.

Bugfix: For showing a specific timeframe on the dashboard, the calender function can be used again on all supported.

The configuration to create new report definitions can be accessed through a new button in the general configuration area.

Depending on the selected hierarchy node, all reports of the selected node as well as the reports of the subordinate nodes are displayed.

New report definitions can be created and existing report definitions can be edited.

The following settings are possible for each report:

• Name of the report configuration
• Period for automatic creation (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• Contained media
• Views (display format of the data)

Based on the report definition, the reports are created automatically after selected time cycle (always on the first day of the selected time window).

The reports are automatically created in .pdf format and saved in the GridVis® Cloud.

The structure and layout of a report is predefined and can only be influenced by configuring the corresponding views.

In the Reports tab in the main view of the GridVis® Cloud, all reports created to date and saved in the GridVis® Cloud are listed.

When a node is selected in the left hierarchy bar, the displayed reports are filtered to this node and its subnodes.

Using the corresponding button, the selected report can be downloaded or opened as a preview in a new browser window.

The following functions are also available via the 3-point menu:

• A static link to the report can be copied to the clipboard
• The report definition for this report can be opened
• The report (single file) can be deleted

Optimization of the response of the Cloud environment for a better performance with data and diagram visualizations.

The order of displayed media is now consistent in all views and functions.

The selection function of a time period is optimized so that the format for the time period selection is easier to use.

The timestamps are reformatted and are now better readable and can be used without manual reformatting in Excel. (previously: Unix-timestamp)

Bug fix: Inconsistent data in the consumption tiles following time period changes have been corrected.

In the diagram on the analysis tab, the displayed data can be exported as CSV- and XLSX-file.

Only media that are assigned to the selected node or its child nodes are displayed. This affects all areas of the GridVis® Cloud in which media are displayed, including the display of media filters.

If only media for which no costs or CO₂ emissions can be calculated are assigned to a node, a hint is displayed. This currently applies to the following types of media:

• Compressed air, as no contract data can currently be stored
• Hot water, as no contract data can currently be stored
• CO₂ -emissions for water

If no data points are available at the selected node, a corresponding hint is displayed. The hint message contains a link to the hierarchy editor.

Please note: The link is not clickable in the Viewer role.

If no data points are available for assignment because they have already been assigned or hidden, a corresponding message appears instead of the accordion. In the event that no data points are available because no Cloud Connector is set up or no devices are integrated in the Cloud Connector, a hint message with corresponding information is also displayed.

• The Rename button can be pressed even if the name has not been changed.
• If there is no entry for the name, the entry cannot be saved and the dialog cannot be closed by clicking outside the dialog.
• Pressing the Cancel button discards the change and restores the old project name.

Additional tiles are displayed in the dashboard for measuring devices that record active energy supplied and active energy consumed:

• Electricity | Drawing displays the measured values for active energy consumed.
• Electricity | Internal consumption displays the measured values for the generated energy that was consumed internally.
• Electricity | Backfeed displays the measured values for the generated energy that was fed back.

The medium "Generation" can be selected in the consumption tab. If you activate the media toggle, the measured generation in the selected period is displayed.

The new tab "Energy profile" can be selected. The displayed content of the energy profile represents the ratio of purchased (blue portion), self-consumed (green portion) and fed back (gray portion) energy. This is displayed as a stacked line chart. Hover the mouse pointer over the plot to display a detailed tooltip that tabulates all the values shown.

The "Save" and "Cancel" buttons are located in the upper right corner.
An "Undo" button has been added, which resets the last change. This is possible up to the last save point.

To enable better multi-user operation, the hierarchy editor has been extended to include conflict detection for simultaneous changes. If a change is to be saved in the hierarchy that conflicts with a change made by another user, a dialog is displayed with a corresponding message. When the dialog is confirmed, the hierarchy editor is reloaded so that the most current editing status is now displayed.

The design has been revised.

The data point list can be sorted by several columns. To do this, hold down the shift key while clicking on the column you want to sort.

The "Valid from" date only accepts dates from 01/01/1900.

For save actions in the Contract editor, a loading indicator is now displayed in the "Save" button to indicate that a save process is running.

General improvements have been implemented in the Contract editor.

The following bugs have been fixed:

• If a hierarchy tree is expanded in the sidebar, no horizontal scrollbar is displayed if the hierarchy can be displayed completely.
• The file created for exporting the currently displayed consumption values can also contain spaces.
• When selecting another time period in the analysis view, the displayed time period is not updated until the dialog is confirmed.

By clicking on a measuring device tile in the dashboard, a detailed view of the device can be opened. This contains the following functions:

• Display of the device detail data (including name, type, serial number, transferred media, etc.).
• If the system time of the device deviates, a note is displayed here: "System time of the measuring device deviates".
• Further information on the time deviation can be called up via the "Info" icon.
• Display of the device recording configuration.
• The value types active energy consumed and active energy supplied are displayed.
  
  • Note: Active energy is no longer required for displaying the measured values in the GridVis® Cloud, so only the two measured value types mentioned above are displayed here.
• Display of a note for correct or missing measured value configurations.
• Display of the connection information of the device (including connection status, IP and Modbus address).
• A note is displayed for outdated readouts: "no new data for at least 75 minutes".

Reworked frontend for energy contract creation and managed in the settings.

Visualization of the created contract files of the current node, as well as the corresponding underlying nodes.

Contract files can be created for each medium, within each contract versions can be created and managed. Contract versions can be created historical and for future time frames, including configurable periods of validity.

Optional contract details can be added to each contract.

When entering the contract periods, a collision detection is performed in the background. If a time gap or an overlap occurs, a corresponding note is displayed in the input window.

For calculation and visualization of costs and emissions the contract conditions for the different time frames is used.

Differentiation between tariffs "peak" and "off-peak", including separated rates.

Differentiation between "calorific value" and "net calorific value":

• Calculation of costs for natural gas based on the calorific value
• Calculation of CO₂-emissions for natural gas based on the net calorific value
• Automated conversion function for net calorific value

Listing of all subnodes, data point assignments and contract files, which will be deleted simultaneously by deleting the selected node.

The list of connected data points is extended by a newly added sublist per measuring device for all active energy values:

• Prerequisite for this visualization of all values is a complete configuration of the corresponding measurement in the recording configuration of the device.
• The following values can be shown: Balance (active energy), Consumed (active energy consumed), Supplied (active energy supplied)
• The sublist is expendable and can be used, as soon as the device has configured the right value
• Additional information (e.g. time stamp for last readout) and hints are shown for each value

• Assigning additional items - more than allowed by the used license - is inhibited.
• Data points, which would use a item, are shown grayed out in the list and cannot be assigned any more to the hierarchy. (Hint: data points from devices can still be assigned if a data point is already assigned from the same device and the item has been counted.)
• The information box on the top right corner of the hierarchy editor displays a hint on the maximum usage of the items.

Above the accordion a search filter is available, with which the list of available data points can be filtered by their naming and properties. Hidden data points can also be found by using the search filter.

Extended visualization of the values inside the corresponding consumption tile per medium:

• The current consumption (current bar) is displayed on the right side in each consumption tile.
• The whole consumption of the currently chosen period, which is also shown in the bar chart for the whole chosen period, is listed as a numerical value on the left side in each consumption tile.

• While changing the dashboard view to costs or CO₂, the values inside the consumption tiles are also converted into the corresponding unit.
• When a contract is missing in the settings for the current node, hint is shown instead of the converted values.

In the comparison-visualization in the bar chart diagram the numerical consumption values of each shown period are placed in the corresponding tile.

After an update a one-time dialog is shown for each user, which informs about the execution of a update. The update dialog also contains a direct link to the release notes inside the online help for the GridVis® Cloud, which will be opened in a new browser tab.

By mouseover on this field, a tooltip is shown in which the currently used items an their split into used data points and users can be analysed, as well as additional information about the used license.

• Medium "Other" is not visible and cannot be used any more.
• In case no data point is available for a medium, the area inside the accordion for this medium is hidden.

The Cloud Connector checks the recording configuration of the connected Janitza devices (expected configuration: Active energy consumed value and active energy supplied value in 15 minutes sample interval). In case of missing recording values, a warning symbol is displayed in the frontend of the Cloud Connector, placed in the corresponding tile of the affected device.

• Improved design for a better perception of the main node

A Cloud Connector can also be assigned to a project without a direct login in the Janitza ID via a key generated by Janitza.

During the process of adding new devices to the Cloud Connector (right after the devices have been detected by the Cloud Connector within the network), an indication is displayed on the web frontend that the process is still running in the background.

The used items are counted and displayed according to the license model of the GridVis® Cloud.

The following items are counted:

• Users assigned to the license via Janitza ID
• Manual data points
• Measurement devices connected via Cloud Connector and assigned to the hierarchy

Display of multiple projects in the GridVis® Cloud

Via the submenu in account management in the top right area, the displayed project can be changed if the currently logged in Janitza ID is assigned several licenses and thus also several projects of the GridVis® Cloud.

The activity status of the license in use is checked and an error message is displayed if it expires.

After the introduction of the new user roles "Viewer" and "Admin" (managed using the Janitza ID), the restrictions of the functionalities are now active.

For the "Viewer" role, the following functionalities are no longer usable:

• Project settings
• Hierarchy editor
• Contract editor
• Input of manual measurement data
• Link to the hierarchy editor in the sidebar
• Link to contract editor on the analysis page

Design conversions

Search field in the hierarchy bar is now displayed as a "Search" button in the header.

Dashboard

Time periods with the time change (March and October) have been adjusted so that the time change is correctly taken into account.

Optimization of the year view for better display performance.

All devices for which measured values are stored in the GridVis® Cloud are displayed in the list of available data points (= accordion), regardless of how up-to-date they are.
