  • Latest processor architecture
    • Recommended: Intel Xeon (server compatible)
  • RAM: 8 GB
    • Recommended: 16 GB
  • Installation storage space: 2 GB
  • Measured data storage space: Dependent on the volume of measured data, storage depth and archiving time frame
  • 64-bit system
  • Recommended and optimized screen resolution: 1280 x 960 Pixel

 

Databases:

  • MSSQL - recommended
    • MSSQL 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019 is supported
    • Express versions are not supported!
  • MySQL (5.7.22 & 8.0.16)
  • JanDB (not network drive compatible/no multi-user support) - included in the scope of supply.

 

HINWEIS!

The JanDB does not run on network drives and does not provide multi-user support!

 

Virtual machines:

Limitations for virtual machines are unknown

  • Citrix environments are not supported!

 

Note:
The licensing process encompasses system parameters such as CPU, PC-ID, MAC and DISK size.
Retain these values after licensing! Otherwise re-licensing will be necessary! 

 

 

NOTE

Compatibility between GridVis Service Edition and GridVis Desktop Versions

Make sure that the version number of the GridVis Edition "Service" corresponds to your desktop edition!
A desktop edition e.g. with the version number 7.2.20 expects a service edition with the version number 7.2.20.
Examples:

A desktop edition (such as GridVis Professional) with version number 7.2.20 works with Service Edition 7.2.20.
A desktop edition (such as GridVis Professional) version 7.2.20 does not work with Service Edition 7.2.81.

 

 

HINWEIS!

Please note that your JanDB project is not on a network drive! Save your project on your local PC using the GridVis installation.

The system requirements are

  • Dependent on the project size and the number of measurement points
  • Recommendations and may be adjusted upwards for larger projects
