For the configuration of the measurement devices, the free GridVis® Essentials can be installed and used on a local PC. A download of the GridVis® is available here.
For correct transmission and display of the data in the GridVis® Cloud, two settings are required in the connected Janitza measurement devices: - Correct setting of the measurement device system time
- Complete recording configuration of the active energy values
A description of the corresponding configurations of the measurement devices can be found in the respective usage information.
The following settings must be made for the GridVis® Cloud: Device system time (using the UMG 96-PA as an example) | Synchronize the by selecting the button "Synchronize device time". This change will take effect when the configuration is transferred to the device. When selecting enter a server name (max. 63 characters) in the highlighted field to transfer the NTP time to the device. We recommend using NTP if available. |

Recording configuration (using the UMG 801 as an example) | Create a new recording configuration or change the existing configuration: - Averaging time: 900 s (= 15 minutes)*
- Measured value calculation: Sample
- Measured values:
- ActiveEnergy, SUM13
- ActiveEnergyConsumed, SUM13
- ActiveEnergySupplied, SUM13
* The configuration of a different averaging time is possible but not recommended. A larger averaging time results in a less detailed temporal representation of the consumption values in the GridVis® Cloud. |
